Honest Burger - Soho

I did recently jump onto a bit of a burger train and thought I should send a quick shout out to Honest Burger. The hubby and I visited the Soho branch but thankfully this little piece of burger heaven has expanded itself to several London locations.

As usual you cannot book and this place is tiny so make sure you come for your post work grub early on as otherwise you may have to queue or leave disappointed.

The menu here is short and sweet, the idea being everything is simple and what is made is made very, very well! We were easy customers and opted for an Honest each, which was a beef burger with onion relish (always a good idea), bacon, pickled cucumber and lettuce. We also loved the fact that rosemary salted chips are included in the price unlike most places where this would be considered an extra and all burgers are cooked medium unless specified, which is ideal for myself!

I would like to go back soon when I can arrive early enough to try some other delights on the menu but I would be very tempted to plunge straight back into another signature Honest. It really was a good, simple, homemade, delicious, tasty burger and all of the flavors worked very well together. The staff are friendly and fun too, which always adds to the experience.

This isn't really a date place or a long drawn out catch up with friends, it's simple, quick, clean and most importantly "honest". It would be great as a pre-theater bite to eat or during a day out for lunch. Equally, just a quick post work meal to leave you warm and satisfied but they will turn over tables fast as they have to; to keep up with the demand!
